Man, I go out of town for a fun vacay, and the Governor lets loose with all kinds of happenings on the housing and land use issues!  Apologies for the shortness of my posts now, I’ll have to follow up with more in-depth when I get back.

I already noted the Gov’s executive order which happened a couple days ago. Yesterday the Gov held a summit with a group of invited mayors, basically with the message of (see if this sounds familiar, readers of this blog) let’s cooperate to make more housing happen quicker, for cheaper.  And if you don’t do something, well, according to a friend who attended, the Gov reminded everyone several times that local govs were created by the state, and the state can, you know, change things about what they must do and how to do it.  Here’s a couple of news stories on topics.

About all the time I’ve got for now, my travel partner is yanking on my arm saying come on, we’re here on vacation!  So, later y’all.
